The linkage is accurate and correct. The 539S tag is even installed. The differences in the Carter WO carbs used on the WWII jeeps and the CJ2A jeeps were extremely minor.
It takes an expert to even see the differences. The differences are things like the number of patent numbers stamped on the bowl and the design of some of the linkages.
None of these differences affect installation or performance of the carb. These reproduction carbs were made to satisfy the nitpicky WWII jeep collector but these carbs are 100% correct for the Willys CJ2A jeeps with zero modification needed. Some minor adjustments may be needed but this should be limited to the idle adjustment screw and the fuel mixture screw.You do need to be sure your jeep engine is tuned up correctly including timing, points, plugs, etc. Remember a new carburetor will not fix other problems with your engine! Carb comes complete with the float setting gauge (Carter T109-80) and the metering rod setting gauge (Carter T109-26). Also included are 2 new mounting nuts and brass fuel line coupling.
