February 1945 Ford GPW Jeep GPW253666. This February 1945 Ford GPW is ready to be restored and used. She is in complete and unrestored condition throughout. GPW253666 was built in February 1945 and served with the Australian military during WW2. Her original Australian Hood number is being researched at the moment and will be updated asap.
Her body tub is original and in good shape with only a couple of areas of floor which have been patched over the years. She has had an impact on the passenger fender as can be seen in the pics and a spare original fender will be included with her upon sale. She has her correct original T84 Transmission and transfer case which are in good restorable condition and are out of the Jeep as you can see in the pics. Her transmission cross member, handbrake mechanism are all present and correct. Original front and rear axles work as they should. The engine in the Jeep is an MB engine but will be swapped out for a GPW engine with the serial number GPW223666 which the farmer sourced as a spare to install one day. Engine bay is pretty complete and has original starter, 6v Generator, Oil filter and fuel filter, voltage regulator and radiator present. After Military service GPW223666 went to work on the same property in Victoria as my other GPW, where she remained until I found her.
She has a lot of military markings showing through her paint and will be a real treasure to research. If you have any questions or would like further information please do not hesitate to ask. She has UK NOVA reference for UK age related registration and assistance can be given to register her if required. The item "February 1945 Ford GPW Jeep" is in sale since Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
