NOS 1943 Oil Bath Air Cleaner # 613300 D. W. Onan & Sons Willys MB Ford GPW Jeep

For sale is something somewhat shrouded in some mystery because I've never seen one before and have never heard one talked about. I have a sealed up box that contains a very old and vintage Oil Bath Air Cleaner. Part 18205-B is listed with cross reference. The box measures slightly bigger than the Ford Motor Companies Air Cleaner that they made.

This Air Cleaner is supposed to be for WW2 Military Jeeps Willys MB & Ford GPW. This box measures 11 3/4in x 9in x 8 3/4in. I was told that this is an "Early Oakes cleaner" and told by another that this is actually a "late model oakes" air cleaner with the embossed style. Either way, it's up for sale so maybe whoever wins it will open it up and share with us what in fact it is and precisely what it looks like. I'm setting the price of this listing for what I've seen other vintage air cleaners for.
