WWII Willys MB, Ford GPW Jeep Carter W-O Carburettor rebuilt & restored

  

My remaining original Carter W-O carburettor reoved from a'44 Willys MB and rebuilt by renowned Jeep engine specialists Turner Engineering a couple of years ago. Placed into my'spares for the next restoration' collection. I've collected lots of Jeep bits over the years and have restored them in batches. As I have no Jeeps now, I'm getting rid of a few spares. The carburettor was dissasembled, soda blasted and then ultrasonically cleaned.

All new butterflies, seals, screws, springs and clips to return to as near as possible to new. Carburettor will need set up on the vehicle - basic setting of idle and mixture screw has been done, but will need some fine tuning once installed - as with any carburettor. I've had a couple of carbs rebuilt by Turner over the years, which I have run on my jeeps and they've all be really good bits of kit.

A decent carb is half the battle. Well worth starting with a completely rebuilt and original item.
