September 1943 Ford GPW Jeep

September 1943 Ford GPW Jeep GPW142753. This September 1943 Ford GPW is ready to be restored and used. She is in complete and unrestored condition throughout. GPW142753 was built in September 1943 and served with the Australian military during WW2. Her original Australian Hood number is being researched at the moment and will be updated asap.

Her body tub is original wartime and had the back panel cut out when used as a farm vehicle. The back panel section that was cut out was retained by the farmer over all of the years and is included with the Jeep as you can see in the pics. The tub has a couple of areas of floor which will need attention but is generally in very good original condition. She has a couple of original combat rims and a couple of later wheels with tyres that hold air.

Correct original T84 Transmission and transfer case which are in excellent condition and change through the gears without issue. Original front and rear axles. Engine bay is pretty complete and has original starter, Oil filter and fuel filters, voltage regulator and GPW radiator present. The Engine is f marked throughout. After Military service GPW142753 went to work on a property in Victoria where she remained until I found her.
